Role Name : Business Development Manager (BDM)   Role Summary : Managing small projects, lead generation and closure, create project pipeline, payments, promote VAP, Building relationship with interior designers/Architects/Fabricators, customers meet,Brand Building and MIS.   Reporting to : Regional Head   Role purpose : To achieve sales through small projects, realisation, improving reach and spread and better penetration in rural segment (Tier II & III towns). Act as a conduit between the customer(projects), dealers/Processors and Company( RM/ZH)   Qualification : MBA should be from Top business school   Roles & Responsibility   Small Trade Project Management   1. Mapping of small projects /fabricators   2.Work closely with RM/ASM to ensure timely supply through dealers and processors   3. Maximize Share of business from small projects and processors through specification   4. Building and maintaining healthy business relations with customers(dealers/fabricators/small builders), ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & quality norms   5. Updation of leads   Business Development :   1.Coordinate with and assist RM in sales and market visits   2.Primary and secondary sale through specified projects   3. Increase value-added sales in small projects through specification   4. To achieve Price realization targets   5. Generate leads with potential for prospective business 6.Devising & effectuating competitive selling programs/strategies   7. Work with cross functional teams -Pricing, Demand Planning, Operations and Customer Service team to achieve organizational wide objectives   Branding & Awareness :   1. To build a brand equity amongst customers by providing timely deliveries & quality products   2. Ensure availablity of optimum quantity of samples and collaterals   3.Building brand focus in conjunction with operational requirements. Ensuring maximum brand visibility and capture optimum market shares.   4. Brand image building and awareness campaigns.   Market Intelligence :   1. Keep track of projects and channel activities   2. Identify new potential projects   3. Keep track of the industry trends and competition   4. Mapping of competitors (products, prices,services,marketing activities)   Customer Satisfaction :   1. Ensure customer satisfaction in terms of quality, delivery, promotional support etc   Knowledge :   Marketing knowledge in construction & building material industry.Project Handling and Channel sales(networking), accounting.
