Looking for BDM/Business Development Manager(Individual role)

Location -Pune & Chennai

Candidate should have very good experience into freight forwarding companies.

Role :

1. Achieve volume and revenue budget for all verticals

3. Ensure creation of a general Customer SOPs to enhance service levels for our customers

4. Ensure adherence to sales KPIs

5. Ensure usage of Sales tools and kits as provided

6. Strict usage of CRM for all sales activity processes.

7. Ensure Opportunity Manager is updated with relevant details .

8. Analyze CRM data and give constructive feedback to SM/ BM to enable improve business

9. Monitoring KTL Budgets Vs Actuals every month and to discuss the same with sales team /BM

10. Ensure smooth & good business relationship with all network offices

11. Strategize for increased customer base in the category of Silver, Gold &Platinum customers

12. Derive local sales strategies and work towards enhancement of market penetration and market share across all verticals .

13. Ensure job profitability is achieved through active consultation with Manager - Airfreight & Sea freight.

14. Actively participate and contribute to all Tender Management activities

15. Focus on opportunities and evolve strategies for enhancement of Project Logistics business,

16. Manage credit approvals as per prescribed limits and credit lines in line with Global KPIs .

17. Facilitate Annual Sales Review Meet

18. Facilitate weekly / Monthly Sales Performance meetings with Sales Team & BM

General :

19. Escalate to SM /BM in the event of any Claims and Cargo discrepancies per prescribed procedures QP 300

20. Represent Weiss Rohlig in trade related meetings at the location basis instructions from BM / Director-Sales

21. Ensure that you receive regular Training to upgrade Sales skills and competencies

22. Awareness of statutory requirements and work within the norms of the company and institutions

23. To have awareness of the EDI enterprise of job handling.

24. Keep updated on latest market developments within and outside India and have awareness of competitor activities

25. Communication - provides both verbal and written information in a timely, clear and concise manner

26. Challenges self & others to achieve extra ordinary results, striving for best in class.

Legislative Requirement :

- Have understanding of Legislative requirements of role and ensuring all activities are carried out in line with WR India Policies and other Statutory institutions.
