Business Development Manager - Education

Location: The role is open for Bombay and Chennai locations

Key Responsibilities :

The role requires to meet with School Founders / chairperson / Principal and other key stakeholders to be able to pitch the idea and answer all their questions and close the deal.

- Plan and execute the scaled acquisition of 300-400 schools in a 3 year time frame in their market

- Hire, coach, retain a team of 3-8 people over a 4-8 district distributed geography

- Scale to a general manager role spanning sales, marketing, retention, collection in 2-3 year time frame

Ideal Profile :

- Demonstrated record of achieving aggressive institutional sales targets in new/lagging market/product/brand. High on market intelligence, sales process, data and potential to grow into general management.

- Personality : hungry/result-oriented, high on grit and assertiveness, can build high value relationships, ready to rough it out.

Must Have Experience/ skills :

- It requires a hunter mindset to capture the scale needed in the the district geography.

- Demonstrated record of achieving aggressive institutional sales targets in new/lagging market/product/brand.

- Excellent in building stakeholder/Client relationship across levels

- Good in market intelligence, sales process, and data

- Excellent Negotiation Skills

- Innovative thinking would help

Please note this role requires extensive travelling and is not an office based role. Its a hard core hunter profile so please be sure you would want to do this.

Key criteria for this role is MBA from a Top tier college.
