Responsibilities: - Formulate and implement strategy for enhancing market penetration to increase the business volume from Defence and Aerospace segment. - Order book pipeline, Strategies for long-term plan, Annual plan, Y-O-Y growth, Profitability and P/L management. - Key account management for increasing the business volume from major Defence and Aerospace Key accounts. - Prepare & maintain list of customers in market segments and select key target accounts forsales/market actions. - Interacting with Defence and Aerospace customers on regular basis for developmental projects and address the customer needs and desires for solutions during design and engineering stages. - Liaise with client for his requirement, analyse his requirement and develop order strategy Review, discuss, correct and put up competitive technical and commercial quotations Ensuring healthy relationship with Services, DRDO labs, Test labs, Space organization, PSU'sand other Government bodies - Gather intelligence on competitor activity, and give feedback to marketing - Build company profile and brand image in the market through customer visits, presentations, exhibitions, tradeshows, business meets. Participate in defence & aerospace seminars and exhibitions. - Acts as a strategic partner for customers to understand customer needs and deliver through Cross functional teams. - Interact with design/technical team on the new technologies/requirement of the customer for technology/process up gradation - Support the proposal activities for new programs, or new contracts by providing applicable material cost inputs - Recommend policy initiatives, new product/partnership arrangements & innovative approaches keeping in mind the market opportunities, practices & competition to strengthen company leadership position. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors or Master's Degree in Electronics/Electronics & Communication or Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering - 8-12 years' experience in Defence & Aerospace industry in areas of Sales & Business Development - Worked on medium to large size opportunities/tenders in Defence Electronics domain orSystem Integration projects in Aerospace & Defence - Well versed with DAP 2020, Defence Procurement Policies - Extensive experience of working with MoD, DRDO labs, DPSUs, Armed Forces International OEMs
