Role : Business Development Manager

Location:Chennai/Kolkata/Pune/Ahmedabad

Brief on the company:

Client is one of the India's leading consulting organizations and is an established name in the area of Trade laws and Indirect Tax advisory. The company has for the last 3 decades been providing advisory and transaction services to various large and medium sized enterprises in the area of foreign trade and indirect taxation thereby helping them realize maximum monetary returns/benefits against their exports & Infrastructure projects.

The management is led by an experienced entrepreneur who is assisted by a team of multi discipline professionals who are seasoned experts in their own areas within service lines. These include Indirect Taxation experts, Commercial experts, Accounting professionals, Legal experts and Statistical Experts among others relevant to business operations and client servicing.

Profile:

a) Responsible for identifying, approaching and setting up meetings with potential corporate clients based on a target list of leads

b) Perform outbound cold to targeted prospects

c) Consult with confidence on the phone and in person with key individuals on the clients side

d) Calendar qualified meetings between client Leadership & prospects

e) Achieve monthly and quarterly goals for qualified meetings

f) Responsible for mapping and engaging with key decision makers on the client side to enable further business development opportunities

g) Documents sales activities in a timely manner. Maintains profiles of all current and prospective customers

h) Reports regularly on lead generation activities and opportunities and reviews progress against forecast and targets

Client Engagement :

1) Must successfully approach potential customers, create and deliver a face-to-face sales presentation that demonstrates knowledge, service offerings.

2) Develop, maintain and expand relationships with key purchase influences

3) Manage client obligations, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction after client is signed up

4) Work with sales support team to develop and implement specific client communication plans, inclusive of content, timelines and communication vehicle, to ensure that clients are provided with regular, proactive and high quality engagement updates

5) Schedule and attend regular client meetings or conference calls to keep client engaged and updated
