Role & responsibilities:
- Steer, own, roll out and deliver on the business plan, encompassing strategy, solutions and sales, for new and existing clients, with clear prioritisation perspective
- Steer the Sales function to meet or exceed targets for new clients (logos) wins and for new business revenues from new and existing logos, backed by thorough understanding of the needs and wants of prospects and clients
- Lead by example, strategy, solutions and sales (including cross-sell and up-sell to existing accounts), working closely with Account Management, Delivery, Practice, frontline sales, Presales and other teams and with client stakeholders, with compelling presentations and value articulation
- Own, lead and deliver on sales operations and full cycle sales team management
- Maintain solid relationship, communication, change management (when required) and governance cadences with customer teams and internal teams
- Champion customer advocacy and socialise it across the entire sales team as expected behaviour
- Share relevant knowledge, information and insights, across internal and client teams, at regular intervals
- Travel to the US, whenever required, for deal closures, bidding conferences, key accounts relationship building and such other sales leadership activities
Candidate requirements:
- Total and relevant experience of 12-15 years
- Experience in handling a 15-20-strong sales team
- Consistent record of achieving individual revenue targets of self and team
- Ability to steer all the deliverables outlined for this role
