Business Development Leader: Fintech

EDGE is seeking to hire a dynamic Business Development Head to be based in Riyadh, who will spearhead our client's expansion in KSA and the Middle-East market.

Our client is a highly successful young tech start-up in the Fintech & BFSI sector with an impressive product suite that intelligently applies technology to business processes and is as good as the best globally and far more nimble and adaptable. This has earned them a list of blue-chip clients with for whom they are a key technology partner. They are a bootstrapped venture that is revenue positive and is now moving to a high-growth phase to consolidate and expand their successful footprint.

As their Business Development Lead you will be spearhead their market expansion into the KSA market and will be primarily responsible for high-value license sales of their software platform through a combination of direct sales and through partnerships.

The Role:

1. Manage license sales through new logo acquisition in the KSA market.

2. Generate license sales through the Banking and Financial Services segment.

3. Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly targets with the right mix of logo acquisition, ARR, ACV (Annual contract value) and length of contract

4. Form relationships at CXO level and navigate through client hierarchy to get the right audience and decision makers of the purchase together.

5. Customize messaging to contextualize to client needs and present solutions.

Your Profile:

- A target oriented, results-driven individual with a strong track record in high-value sales

- 15-20 years of overall experience, primarily in sales and business development with at least 10+ years in selling SaaS or high-ticket subscription licenses in Riyadh market

- Experience in Banking and FS sales is essential

- Past exposure to companies like Salesforce, Servicenow, Outsystems, Mendix, Fiserv etc. will be a major advantage.

- Ability to engage with external customers in both a business and technical capacity. Strong technical communication and presentation skills, including oral, written, and virtual.

- Demonstrated ability in interfacing with senior leadership on customer end.

- Local person based out of Riyadh
