Business Data Solution Architect

- Minimum 10+ years hands-on experience required on Teradata, and its utilities, GCFR, Data Modelling, Data Vault.

- Strong knowledge of industry best practices around data architecture in both cloud based and on-prem solutions

- Experience of architecting data solution across hybrid (cloud, on premise) data platforms. A comprehensive understanding of data warehousing and data transformation (extract, transform and load) processes and the supporting technologies

- Excellent problem solving and data modelling skills (logical, physical, sematic and integration models) including; normalisation, OLAP / OLTP principles and entity relationship analysis

- Experience working on this technology stack i.e. - Teradata, Mainframe DB2, MS Access, SAS, Oracle, SQL Server etc, with a variety of tools and technology involving - Alex, Bamboo, BitBucket, Control M, Erwin, KNIME, Python, QlikSense, SSIS, Tablaeu, Unica, Java, Kafka, IBM datastage, Spark, Openshift, Airflow, Teradata Utilities to name a few.

- Previous experience of working with products that have regular releases through automated CI / CD processes (Devops / Dataops) ideally in a Teradata environment

- Previous experience of Scaled Agile practices and ways of working, including the use of tools such as Jira, Confluence etc

- A strong knowledge of data lineage from source to output

- Excellent communication and presentational skills, confident and methodical approach, and able to work within a team environment
