Business Continuity Specialist - Contractor

Job Description:

- The role Business continuity analyst sits within D&A BCP (1LOD) function reporting into BCP Lead for D&A.

- This role will be responsible for executing business continuity activities for D&A Operations and potentially support of other BCM work.

- This role will need to collaborate with a set of Business continuity champions in each of the individual business functions to ensure each function has robust and implementable business continuity plans that are tested against various disruption scenarios

Role Responsibilities:

- Business continuity Risk policy : Understanding of the policy and regulatory requirements and ability to embed the policy within D&A business

- Business Impact Analysis : Ensure each function have conducted a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify the impact of a disruption to Important Business Services over time and prioritise their recovery.

- Business Continuity Plans : Work across relevant functions and groups to ensure Business Continuity Plan (BCP) are created and approved ensuring clear procedures for responding to a disruptive incident and how the function will continue or recover its Business Services on an end-to-end basis within the pre-agreed timescales set in the BIA.

- Training and Awareness: Partner with Group BCM to deliver BC training to all staff and additional training for Business Continuity Coordinators.

Work with BC champions to ensure that all staff in their function are aware of recovery strategies and solutions relevant to them and their responsibilities in the event of an incident

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Mandatory:

Experience with Business Continuity Management and specifically:

- Conducting Business Impact Analysis

- Creation of Business Continuity Plans

- Competent skills with Office365 including teams and SharePoint

- Experience with MetricStream tooling to manage BCM artifacts (BIA, BCP)

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

- 3 - 5 years of experience

Desirable:

- Experience in Business process Mapping to BPMN2. for technologies egg applications, Experience of Business Continuity and/or Operational Resilience is preferred
