Job Description

Consultant: Has a significant responsibility of leading separate modules of BPS engagements by working closely with Senior Consultant and Manager. He / She also needs to participate in other activities such as preparation of proposals, development of IP and Quality Process Reviews.

Coverage

- Finance Strategy - Developing a finance vision and strategy

- Finance Transformation / Process Optimization - ‘right-size’ the finance organizations cost base - ‘Order to cash’, ‘Procure to pay’, ‘Acquire to retire’, ‘Plan to perform’ and ‘Record to report’

- Business Performance Management / Reporting - Streamlining Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes

- Cash & Working Capital Management - develop and implement visibility, control and generation of cash

- Finance Function Integration - Merger of finance organization

- Shared Services – Shared service strategy for core finance - Account Payables, Receivables, payroll etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

- To effectively deliver / execute individual modules by working in close conjunction with Senior Consultant / Managers

- Effectively engage client counterpart in discussions related to the tasks / project delivery

- To actively work as a member of a team synergizing with one another and optimizing time and resources

- To assist managers / senior consultants by participating in the development on Intellectual Property / Points of view, thought-leadership and Knowledge management

- To ensure adherence to quality standards and Quality Process Review

- To contribute in business development for client engagements

Key skills

- Strong and well rounded business and macro economic understanding

- Skills and experience in strategy formulation, business plan development, financial modeling, etc.

- Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem solving approach

- Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities with existing / external clients

- High level of drive and resilience

- High level of strategic and creative thinking

- High level of comfort with spreadsheets, MS word and Power point

Education Qualification

- MBA from Tier I Indian or International B-school

Years of Experience

- 1-6 years of Consulting experience for Consultant
