In addition to theoretical knowledge of Statistics, should have expertise in software tools like R, SAS and the willingness to build case studies and tutorials to help students understand concepts in greater detail.

You will identify new and emerging areas of Business Analytics, including but not limited to, data extraction, data cleaning, predictive analytics, machine learning / data mining, acquire expertise and teach the same to the students who enroll in the various programs offered by the school.

An experienced analytics professional with years of cumulative experience in Machine / Statistical Learning, Data Mining, Predictive Analytics, Project and Team Management across Health care, Maritime, Automotive, Energy, CPG and Human Resource domain

- Hands on, highly proficient in developing cutting edge analytic solutions using open source and commercial packages to integrate multiple systems to provide massively parallelized and large-scale optimization

- Extensive experience in building analytics team of data scientists that delivers high quality solutions

- Strategize and collaborate with Industry Experts, Technical Experts and Data Scientists to build analytic solution that shortens the transition from a POC to commercial release

- Contributed significantly in propelling organic growth of IHS by successfully building various predictive and forecasting projects in Maritime, Automotive and Product Design service line

- Operationalization of techniques developed discretely in various phases of analytic project cycle (EDA, Model building, Cross-Validation, Parameter Tuning, Ensemble, Visualization/Presentation of results) in order to have re-usability in future projects - Well versed with overarching supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised learning algorithm implementations in R, Python, Vowpal Wabbit, Julia and SAS. Distributed frameworks including Hadoop and H20, both in-premise and in cloud environment - Part-time kaggler and IOT / IIOT enthusiast (RaspberryPi & Arduino prototyping)
