Business Analyst - Wholesale Technology

The key responsibilities include :

- Understand the existing business functions and participate in defining new solutions that meet the business objectives

- Work on BRDs (business requirement document) proposing business solutions to given business problems.

- Regularly interact (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical stake holders locally and globally, including data vendors, for requirement discussions and for developing functional solutions

- Create functional test cases for the change

- Participate in unit, functional testing, and system integration as needed

- Resolve queries of the business users, developers, and downstream & upstream system owners

Mind Set :

Mandatory Skills :

- Possess 5+ years of experience of working as a BA preferably in global markets or market/price data or data analytics domains in an Investment Bank or a related product company

- Understanding of at least one of the asset classes- Equities, Bonds, Mortgages, listed Derivatives

- Strong academic background

- Should have strong business analysis skills

- Strong in communication

- Should be willing to work as an individual contributor

- Must be a good team player

Desirable Optional Skills :

- Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal

- Familiarity with data published by leading instrument and market data vendors including Bloomberg and Reuters

- Basic exposure to various front, middle and back-office operations functions

- Experience of working in the front office technology or Middle Office or Settlement Operations team
