APAC Liquidity
Finance Change requires an experienced Business Analyst to support the Treasury / Liquidity Change program.The candidate will work as a business analyst on projects to implement regulatory priorities for EMEA entities. The candidate will support the projects across the project lifecycle engaging with Business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Use Business Analysis tools and techniques to capture and clearly articulate the as-is business processes, identify problems and inefficiencies and define business requirements for process improvements
- Serve as a liaison with managers of line functions to identify, define and accurately document business requirements following best practice
- Manage requirements and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that requirements are delivered as specified, and change impact assessments can be made
- Should transform business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Communicates clearly with all stakeholders and demonstrates an understanding of business processes and related issues. Develops multiple solutions options and can convey the merits and issues of each to ensure clear understanding of impact across the organization
- Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for integration, functional, performance and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, manage and escalate where appropriate project risks and issues associated with requirements gathering, analysis, and design
- Design training and support documentation for new projects
- Ensure compliance with established guidelines for accurate and timely project delivery milestones
Work closely with the Global PC/ FA teams and be involved in the execution of various initiatives planned as part of the Book of Work
The role provides the candidate with an opportunity:
- To understand the Financial Accounting related accounting and reporting systems and processes in a leading investment bank
- Experience in stakeholder management and a key liaison role between Finance line and IT in deploying and building solutions
Qualifications
- Experience in leading team size of 4-6 resources
- Worked on projects as a BA delivering Treasury / Liquidity or other Regulatory reporting projects
- Strong business analysis capabilities including requirements definition, design, testing and process mapping
- Expected to work closely with IT to validate technical design
- Extremely strong Technical knowledge on SQL and Excel tools like macros
- Extremely strong understanding of financial products like Bonds and Interest rate swaps
- Strong communication skills
