Business Analyst - SCM Domain

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Travel across to meet the stakeholders in person for requirement interviews and understand their needs.

- Requirement analysis and management. Eliciting requirements, organizing translating and simplifying them.

- Work across multiple systems in order to consolidate data across processes to provide consolidate reports/analysis to the business stakeholders.

- Conduct Cost/Benefit Analysis and Business Case development.

- Define the project charter and seek approval for the same.

- Liaise with the Delivery team to keep the project pipeline updated.

- Creating, analysing, and validating detailed functional specifications.

- Define test scenarios to evaluate the success of the deliveries and participate in the acceptance testing.

- Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.

- Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions you have made.

- Gain agreement, usually from senior management and communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments.

- Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary.

- Regularly seek feedback from the external stakeholders to understand and investigate into the service/function/product provided.

SKILLS:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.

- The ability to motivate others and lead change and work under pressure and within deadlines.

- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach;

- Good understanding of BI and Analytics.

- Understanding system engineering concepts and project management.

- Good understanding of the BI and Analytics lifecycle, products (Data Warehouse, ETL, Reporting), conceptual design skills and problem solving.

- Must have experience in customer facing engagements.
