Business Analyst :

Responsibilities :

- Lead and be accountable for all project research stages

- Learn and formulate a research problem

- Work with technology development team to implement strategies into production

- Work with business partners to articulate strategies and results

- Deliver the project based on agreed timeline

Requirements :

- Masters or Ph.D. in computer science or other quantitative discipline (e.g. maths, statistics, physics)

- Expert with significant relevant experience in at least one of the following fields data mining, machine learning, business intelligence, statistics, mathematics or finance

- Strong experience working with large data sets and/or distributed computing tools (Maps/Reduce, Hive, etc.)

- Expert in Java or similar OO programming languages

- Hands on experience of SQL and NoSQL databases

- Fluency with at least one scripting language such as Python or Perl (Non critical requirement)

- Familiarity with an analysis tool such as R

- Familiarity with a Data Mining toolkits such as WEKA or Mahout

- Finance experience or knowledge a strong advantage
