Business Analyst/Product Owner - Digital Asset

Our client is a global strategy and technology consulting firm, who are supporting one of the world largest MNC banks with the launch of a new capital markets focused product suite. To support this work, they are looking to onboard an individual with domain knowledge in securities, digital asset custodian and tokenisation.

These products have been defined, however, with a planned go live in 2024, the team require a strong industry practitioners who can help drive the final stages of the product launch and implementation.

This will be an initial 3 month engagement focused on helping the client get these products to market, successfully navigating all neccesary internal and external complexities involved.

Role & Responsibility:

Business Storytelling & Research: Develop compelling narratives, create executive presentations and conduct in-depth market research to define the product's value proposition and market positioning.

Needs Assessment: Establish a structured framework for conducting needs assessments, identifying pain points and collecting feedback from clients and stakeholders.

Business Use Cases: Define and document business use cases, ensuring alignment with client needs and product capabilities.

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the product strategy and create a comprehensive, well-prioritised product roadmap.

Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate vendor proposals, ensuring a deep understanding of technical details and how they align with business objectives. Provide a clear framework in the evaluation, scoring and selection process through compelling business writing.

Technical Requirements: Generate comprehensive technical requirements to guide the development of the platform's design and implementation. Facilitate technical discussions and provide essential guidance to bridge business needs with technical solutions.

Product Development: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with technical teams.
