We are at present having a position as business analyst - strategic planning cell for a reputed indian EPC company for their corporate office in kolkata location :
Job Description- Associate in management of budgeting, forecasting and short/medium/long-term planning processes.
- Analyze actuals against budget/forecast and prior year; provide detailed financial reports and analysis to Sr Management
- Assist in development of financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.
- Support management team decision-making with data-driven analyses
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and identify the causes of variances.
- Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
- Research and tracking of the key value drivers of Industry and competition.
Skills required- Excellent financial, quantitative, and analytical abilities coupled with solid business acumen.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a widely dispersed, global environment with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in person and remotely.
- Experience of working with SAP & BPC system
- Experience of using Business Intelligence tool and dashboard reports
Responsibilities- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group.
- Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Review a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution and facilities.
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.
