Job Description
- Work with project stakeholders to understand and document business objective, needs.
- Perform business analysis on the regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
- Understand the reporting process, analyze existing risk reports and recommend improvements.
- Develop business and functional requirements and obtain timely sign-offs by all respective parties.
- Conducts change impact analysis to assess and report the potential implications.
- Work with Users, line management and IT groups throughout the various phases of the project.
- Prepare test conditions and test steps and execute all functional testing of deliverables to ensure all requirements are accurately delivered.
- Organize and participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
- Liaise with business unit sponsors, stakeholders and IT partners on a regular basis to ensure communication of status and issues.
- Identification of risks and issues and management with a strong sense of accountability.
Skill Sets
- 7 + years of experience with Business Analysis experience and in depth understanding of business processes, financial products, market risk management and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of systems delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and delivery methodologies
- Good understanding and experience of VaR methodology, capital calculations and market risk concepts
- Effective stakeholder management
- Financial Services change experience in market risk management and preferably within Investment Banking environment.
