Business Analyst - KPO

Business Analyst :

Cloudtail is looking for a seasoned Business Analyst. We are seeking a strong business analyst that can combine quantitative data, and qualitative research, to arrive at critical insights and opportunities for growth. To be successful in this role you will need to think big, and have the ability to operate independently, devising analyses based on loosely defined business problems. You will be innovative in your thinking, and have proven success influencing teams across an organization. You will be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciate white space, and understand the value of rapid test and learn approaches. The right candidate will be a savvy problem solver, with a keen understanding of the tools and frameworks required to analyze large datasets.

Responsibilities for this role include :

- Support preparation of organisation's reporting metrics deck, including input and output metrics

- Craft performance metrics for various business teams. Own and partner with vendor / category management teams to influence these metrics

- Build models to understand cause-effect relationships between inputs and outputs metrics

- Conduct ad hoc data analysis and data quality investigations

- Build forecasting models for financial planning based on past data trends, including developing reports from ERP for key insights

- Recommend business actions based on analytical findings, define new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve performance

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in statistics, mathematics or related field.

- Experience using SQL, ETL and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.

- Knowledge of accounting, financial, operational, and marketing principles

- Experience solving complex quantitative business challenges;.

- Verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications : MBA or Master's in a related field
