Business Analyst - IT

We are looking for someone who can start immediately, or at best 7-10 days.

Responsibilities:

- Collect and document of business requirements for processes related to investment management, finance and financial transactions through stakeholder interviews and value stream mapping techniques.

- Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.

- Create process documentation/workflows using BPMN in Visio for users to understand process flows

- Document business activities and rules applicable to process steps, calling out exceptions and constraints as applicable

- Evaluate the information gathered for logical completeness and applicability and if missing, decompose high-level information into finer details, capturing the essence of the process

- Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results

- Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns and identify opportunities to improve processes

- Manage requirements traceability information and provide as needed by stakeholders

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Experience of 5+ years working as a business analyst.

- Experience in Business Process modelling, requirements documentation and process mapping using BPMN in MS Visio.

- Preferred experience in the BFSI industry with Investment Management and Fund Administration processes.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a changing and challenging environment with a record of producing high quality business analysis documentation.

- Motivated self-starter who can work in a team environment.

- Excellent communication, listening and writing skills

- Excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Experience of implementation and rollout to critical systems.

- Be willing to travel (limited) if required to support project objectives
