Business Analyst - Investment Banking Domain

Position : Investment Banking-BA.

Location- Mumbai.

Qualification : MBA / Any Post Grad.

Experience : 2 - 6 Years.

Role & Responsibilities:

Candidates who have BA experience within the investment banking domain.

- Business Analyst to work across Liquidity reporting projects with global stakeholders, focusing on local regulatory deliverables. The projects are very closely aligned with the CRDIV and PRA regulatory deliverables.

- The BA will work directly with SMEs in Treasury, Product Control and the Front Office, as well as with colleagues in IT, who are dedicated to this project.

- The project will deliver a number of different applications for Liquidity reporting, including both in-house and third-party vendor tools.

- Analysis and documentation of new requirements for data sourcing, calculation of key metrics, and functionality.

- Immediate deliverables will focus on requirements gathering & documentation, maintaining key project documentation (plans, action logs, RAID logs), analysis of strategic data sources, and management of the regular testing cycles.

Testing:

- Create and review user test plans

- Co-ordination and execution of user testing

- Review QA and Regression Test Scripts

Experience:

- Experience in documenting business requirements (BRD), reviewing and/or preparing functional specifications.

- Identification, analysis, and selection of data sources to meet strategic reporting requirements.

- Assessment and tracking of risks and issues, logging and follow-up of actions, and tracking progress against a plan.

- Working closely with Finance Technology, ensuring detailed understanding and delivery of requirements, as well as prioritization of any issues encountered.

- Frequent meetings with the Project Team, Technology, SMEs and stakeholders, as well as act as a key liaison with local Technology resource.

- A good working knowledge of Treasury and Liquidity management and reporting is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of or experience working on LCR, NSFR and Asset Encumbrance under Basel III/ CRDIV would be beneficial.

- Essential to have experience working in an Investment Bank, with knowledge of the standard products - secured financing and derivatives essential.

- Basic to Intermediate level of SQL knowledge is essential.

- Working knowledge on Axiom product will be desirable, though not mandatory.
