Business Analyst - FinTech Product Firm

Since they had their public launch in 2015, they have cemented their position as the No.1 fintech startup in consumer lending space.

They are Series-B funded, backed by top-tier investors. They are using the scale of the web and advances in computing, big data, machine learning and mobile to bring transformative financial innovation to the market.

As a senior engineer,you will be building APIs, reviewing the work of other engineers, automating processes and solving business problems by writing efficient code.

We believe in rapid iterations and prototyping, continuous deployment and writing code that is extensible, maintainable and scalable. We are a small team of problem solvers who work across different code bases / languages / tech stacks.

Creating polished products and shipping high quality code, constantly improving/learning and contributing to the documentation & engineering culture of the company are some of the things expected of you.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping the product direction and will be actively involved in defining key product features that impact the business. You will work with Principal Engineers at our client's organization has evolve the design and architecture of the products. You will be responsible to setup and hold a high software quality bar besides providing technical direction to a highly technical team of Software Engineers.

Responsibilities:-

- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

- Performing requirements analysis.

- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

- Performing user acceptance testing.

- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.

- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

- Monitoring deliverable and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Candidate Requirements:-

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from premier institute

- A minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis or a related field.

- Excellent documentation skills.

- Competency in Word and Excel

- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties;

- The ability to motivate others and lead change;

- The ability to work on multiple projects within your project time frames.

- A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change;

- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach;

- A strong interest in business and business development;
