Business Analyst- Finance


Business Performance Review:

- Review of P&L and status check on key strategic programs across businesses

- Analyze available data, MIS and all available information pertaining to businesses or functions.

- Preparation of dashboard summarizing key business drivers specific to different verticals.

- Generation of various reports/presentations for senior management to take informed decisions

- Work with finance team to facilitate auto report generation across verticals

Business Analytics:

- Analysis of business data including financial, sales and operational

- Running programs, maintaining dashboards or populating information in prescribed formats

- Running scenario modeling tools and analytics tool as required to derive conclusions

Business Productivity Review:

- Analysis of manpower productivity

- Analysis of various productivity matrices such as sales staff ratio, turnover to staff ratio, finance and operations team strength per unit volume or unit revenue, sales calls per person, etc.

- Benchmarking productivity against the best industry practices

Monitoring Key Matrices:

- Dashboard Creation and management

- Monitoring ROI for investments made

- Monitoring ROCE for the company - business wise

- Monitoring financial health of the company - debt, liquidity, etc. across offices

- Analyze various reports (across sales, customers, products, procurement, other cost etc.) directly downloaded from system to create meaningful insights various reporting across the group

- Identify anomalies in these reports and recommend action plan as per opportunities identified

- Support with budgeting and forecasting exercise by providing deeper insights into key KPIs like volume, yield etc.

- Support the head in various presentations

- Initiate reports that can be automated which can help to increase productivity and develop deeper insights thereby contributing to business growth.

- Create business strategies by identifying new and potential trade lanes

- Work with country and regional heads to understand business information needs and design and develop reports with clear insights.

- Create complex revenue forecasting models and develop ad hoc financial analysis.

- Building financial models: Investment/Capex/Opex Analysis, Capital Budgeting (NPV, IRR, Payback period models).

- Works with internal stakeholders on significantly improving process and systems utilized to analyze financial results.
