Role Dimensions
The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing the analysis activity in at least one priority project/programme with a medium to high level of scope/complexity. The Business Analyst may be required to work with Business Analysts and IT and be the main point of contact for Business Analysis.
Qualifications and Accreditations
- Candidate must have worked minimum 5 years in Counterparty Credit Risk with sound knowledge of Products, Simulations, Pricing, Aggregation and reporting
- FRM/PRM/CFA certified
- Person with some Project Management experience will be given preference
- Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration will be given preference
Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of
- Financial Risk
- Regulatory Implementations: BASELIII, CRD IV, Dodd-Frank, BCBS 261, ISDA requirements, CCAR etc
- Working on Bank's Internal Model implementation from Change perspective
- writing BRDs and FRDs
- working experience on complex and large banking regulatory projects
Effective communication skills
- Ability to work with senior management globally and act as a team player
- Power Point, Access and Excel including macros development
- Gain expertise on the regulations around Global Market activities
- Looking out candidates with minimum 7-11 year work experience in Investment banking domain
- Co-ordinate testing: create test plans, define and manage UAT and manage defect tracking and resolution
- Good knowledge on Agile Framework
Experience
- Proven track record as an outstanding analyst or consultant
- Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise
- Extensive experience of using multiple analysis techniques in a change environment, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects
- Experience of business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits
- Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in banking environments (branch, contact centre, trading floor, operations, head office etc).
- Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills
- Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
- Advanced judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management styles
- Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors
