Scope of the work :
- Examine, assess, and analyze business systems and user requirements thoroughly.
- Create documentation outlining needs, objectives, and system strategies aligned with broader business goals.
- Preference may be given to candidates with an associate's degree in a relevant field and 2-4 years of related experience. Proficiency in relational database principles and client-server concepts is essential. Demonstrate expertise and discretion in achieving set goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define operational goals through careful examination of business processes, information gathering, and assessment of output needs and formats.
- Engage stakeholders to gather pertinent information before embarking on requirement analysis.
- Evaluate proposed business automation or enhancements critically.
- Develop visual representations such as workflow charts and diagrams, and draft system specifications to refine existing processes.
- Propose effective controls by identifying operational issues and proposing improved procedures.
- Outline project requirements, including milestones, phases, and resource allocation, and establish project teams and budgets accordingly.
- Oversee project progress, addressing issues promptly, sharing progress reports, and suggesting corrective actions.
- Maintain confidentiality to ensure user trust and safeguard business operations.
- Compile technical reports summarizing insights and trends drawn from data analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives.
- Validate resource needs and devise cost estimates accordingly.
- Conduct comprehensive research on financial, product, market, and operational aspects to support strategic planning across different organizational areas.
- Interpret and integrate research findings into cohesive business analyses to guide decision-making processes.
- Coordinate primary and secondary market research efforts, presenting findings to client committees.
- Conduct regular reviews of operational processes using available metrics and reports.
- Clearly communicate the financial and operational implications of proposed changes.
- Advocate for strategic changes to senior management based on data-driven insights and actively participate in their implementation.
- Develop concise and actionable reports highlighting business trends and improvement opportunities.
- Perform in-depth analyses to address ongoing operational challenges as needed.
- Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of project progress, milestones, delays, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience strongly preferred
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
- Good exposure to SDLC Life Cycle, must be aware of different phases of the cycle.
- Involved in BRD Documentation - Independently
- Aware of financial statements - Financial modelling, cash flow, liabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle the business independently.
- Proper business analyst with experience in Marketing or Finance and SDLC.
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
