Business Analyst - BFSI/KPO/IT

Job Description:

Project Execution:

- Plan, execute and deliver on agreed POC- s, Workshop, Pilots, and Projects; Includes scope, project plan, governance, problem management, project closure.

- Design process mapfor client specific process along with data collection and validation

- Configuration of digital operating model along different modules such as Risks, HR and Infrastructure

- Analyze using product analytics to re-engineer client's current process and build digital models with an attempt to solve client's problem

- Optimize the digital models to offer solutions for implementation

- Present these solutions to the customers

- Create necessary documentation and/or presentations to share knowledge and experience across external & internal stakeholders

Knowledge Management:

- Research on client specific process before project engagement

- Understanding of operational risks in the area and various control mechanisms currently employed across financial services which can be incorporated into projects

- Train sales team on product features

- Help to create and refine implementation methodologies, process standards, tools, and best practices in order to effectively implement solutions

Business Development:

- Write white papers to spread organizational visibility in the markets and support in preparing for various client pitches.

- Create case studies on projects worked for sales support

- Support design & content for quarterly newsletters

- Understand customers unmet needs during engagement and provide sales or product leads

Product Innovation:

- Support product innovation in strengthening the product

- Develop product reference document and product courseware for customers

- Test product features prior release

Experience:

- Bachelors or Master's degree. Business degree with financial courses preferable.

- 4+ years of work experience as a business analyst in the financial services industry, top tier banks or similar work-exp.

- Travel for projects required as when a client engagement is signed off

Skills:

- Good communicator with an ability to interact with client organizations to understand project objectives and deliverables

- Good listener who can understand the clients- needs and ability to get answers by coordinating with multiple stake-holders.

- Good project management skills. Ability to defend timelines and escalate or workaround as and when needed to avoid delays.

- Fast learner who has an ability and inclination to learn on the job in order to build solutions using the product
