Job Description:
As a Business Analyst in a dynamic middle office outsourcing provider, will facilitate running small to medium projects focusing on a critical support application for the Business teams. Will perform in a high-impact, high-visibility capacity, and collaborate with business users and technical application owners to develop and document business requirements, technical solutions, validation and product deployment plans for a critical client-facing inquiry management tool used throughout the division. Additionally, will provide ongoing deployment, production and product support for the same.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of strong business analysis experience.
- Experience gathering business requirements, completing business analysis, translating requirements into functional specifications and test cases.
- Skilled in understanding system capabilities and constructing workflow charts and diagrams.
- Ability to improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
- Experienced in writing procedures, monitoring project progress, publishing progress reports.
- Ability to resolve user community issues and provide production support.
- Ability to work and communicate with multiple levels of management.
- Outstanding documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with the Software Development Life cycle and working with developers on completing enhancements / development projects.
- Able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Graduate + MBA degree is highly preferred.
- Ability to develop meaningful user and management reports.
