Our client is looking for Business Analyst to support the sourcing team of a Global PE client in developing and maintaining cost and spending programs across their portfolio companies.
Job Description:
a. Market Research: Conduct market research on products, services, companies, industries, and countries. Present market research findings via PowerPoint presentations.
b. Database Development and Maintenance: Develop comprehensive databases on portfolio companies spending patterns, vendors etc. using primary and secondary research. Conduct extensive data analysis using advanced Microsoft access tools, excel models, pivot tables, macros etc. Develop and maintain periodic research findings reports and presentations. Assist with ongoing reporting requests for portfolio companies and vendors.
c. Co-ordinate meetings and calls with stakeholders: facilitating implementation calls, coordinating status update calls, tracking timelines, and following-up with stakeholders regarding deliverables.
KEY SKILLS
- Advanced Microsoft Access skills, Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Develop and maintain market intelligence, vendor lists
- Data assimilation and Ability to assimilate and analyze substantial data
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Experience in delivering on projects independently Working knowledge of fundamental business processes such as Sourcing, Logistics, Fulfillment, and Compliance, spend data analytics and contract analysis
Soft skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to provide strong professional references
- Ability to multitask and work well with many groups across the firm.
Education :
- MBA with an engineering background
Requirements:
- Experience 1 to 3 years
- Preferred background market research/consulting/business research
- Team Player and Individual Contributor
