Job Purpose
The person will be a senior member of the management team who will be the face & represent the Clients E-governance capability to government bodies & donor bodies in Afghanistan. He will make pitch presentations giving e governance solutions to enterprises and seek opportunities and inroads in development of E-governance in the Country in accordance with policy directives of the State. He will interact and work closely with world bank experts, ministries like information & Communication and others for development of projects like National ID Cards; E-Governance Resource Centre, Websites for Service Delivery to citizens, Automated National registries including in land Ownership, ID Cards, Passports & other licenses, establishing an ICT Village, skill people in use of ICT, Development of Electronic Government Applications and the like.
Job Responsibilities
- Supported by our JD partner the person will be the Business acquisition head for Afghanistan
- Liaison and opportunity spotting at the right forums
- RFP and bid participation, making compelling presentations that will sell our capabilities and provide e governance solutions
- On project acquisition, program management, resource planning, hiring and providing administrative support to operations & field staff
- All administrative activities requires in running a Company or a project in Afghanistan.
- P & L responsibility for entire operations
Desired Skills & Experience
Ideal candidate must be well networked with ministries; government officials and agencies and well aware of the challenges and opportunities in the space of E governance & Data management. He should be hands on but with a vision to build this business in collaboration with governments and agencies. He should be a passionate corporate sale (Business development) professional who is equally conversant with technical knowledge related to Data bases & enterprise management system with one or two successful projects under his belt.
Educational Qualification, Experience, Skills & behavioural traits
- Graduated, preferably Computer science or economics or an MBS in systems
- At least 8 + years experiences in concept and solutions sales out of which 2/3 yrs in selling solutions to high level officials/ government bodies.
- Familiarity with database Management system and applications.
- Project & operational management ability

- Strong interpersonal skills, relationship building skills and Leadership
