As Commerical Finance Head, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and decision-making processes of the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to guide strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mind-set, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial principles.
1. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis to support key business initiatives.
- Evaluate financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to management.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather information and ensure accuracy of budget data.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, highlighting areas of concern or improvement.
3. Financial Reporting and insights:
- Prepare regular financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Revenue enhancements opportunities and competition benchmarking
- Product pricing and performance among other players in the market.
4. Cost Management:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Work with different departments to understand and control costs.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for various projects and initiatives.
5. Forecasting and Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term financial plans.
- Assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and provide recommendations.
- Support decision-making through scenario analysis and risk assessment.
6. Advisory and Support:
- Provide financial advice to management for effective decision-making.
- Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities and capital allocation.
- Support financial due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Finance from Tier 1 & Tier 2 colleges.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and financial software.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with stakeholders across the organization.
