Burger King - Senior Manager - Finance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Finance, Reporting, Analysis, Compliance & Controls:

- a) Manage & ensure efficient running of the Finance Department and ensure compliance with GAAPS, IFRS, local statutes.

- b) Timely closure of Management Accounts, Group consolidation pack, liaising with Auditors, Tax consultants, accruals, timely closure of books, due diligence,

- c) Ensure all taxation and legislative requirements are complied with at all times.

2.Business Control, ERP, Process Improvements:

- a) Reporting for Store Profitability, discounts and promotion. Statements on Marketing funds utilization

- b) Analyzing & reporting the merchandize & promotion materials costs

- c) Cost of Sales analysis, inventory valuation & reporting.

- d) ERP implementation, process improvement, automations, establishing process controls

- e) Ownership of adhering to schedule of authorities & segregation of duties

- f) Create internal audit process for the business & store level financial controls.

3. Accounts Management:

- a) Consolidating and preparing various reports, reconciliation statement, for evaluating differences in accounting.

- b) Monitoring preparation of financial statements, maintenance of statutory books of accounts & financial statement for quarterly & annually held audits.

c) Implementing systems, procedures & manuals for preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance with time & accuracy norms.

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant with Bachelors or Masters in commerce/ finance

- Minimum 5 years of PQE, with prior experience with Big 4

- Exp in handling Statutory Audits, Transfer Pricing, M&A

Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAPs, handling full set of accounts

2. Ability to initiate and drive team, extend relationships with Bankers, Auditors and internal cross functions.
