Burger King - Manager - Finance

Job Description:

1. Managing the annual budgeting and forecasting exercise and ensuring the budget is in line with the strategic plan in terms of volume, market share and segment size

2. Provide daily/ weekly updates/ flash to the management, prepare financial information & analysis for business reviews / presentations with key highlights

3. Conducting profitability analysis, route to market analysis and projections, implement cost saving initiatives etc; consolidate and analyse results.

4. Identifying opportunities across markets - Markets with higher margins, shift to innovation, new products, margin analysis and other initiatives to achieve strategic / annual deliverables

5. Strategic decisions by conducting deep dive business analysis on competitor strategies, changes in competitor pricing, market segmentation and trends. Suggest effective counter measures and evaluate pricing & cost scenarios.

6. Develop and own performance management matrix and dashboards on trends, gaps, shortfalls etc to help support Sales team on an ongoing basis for effective business focus.

7. Review and analyse stock levels, volumes, market share, Bottomline - on a monthly basis; forecast likely issues or concerns and suggest course corrections

8. Assist in creating the IT & MIS road map of the organization.

9. Review volumes and market share and project risks- Define pricing strategy- Identify new SKU opportunities- Analysis of P&L and variance- Analyse monthly volume, market share and segment size and reporting thereof - Analyse stock in trade and suggest optimum level thereof.

10. Lead/ participate and actively drive standardization & automation projects with the relevant Product/ Tech teams for process and execution efficiency

Requirements:

1. Chartered Accountant with Bachelors or Masters in commerce/ finance

2. Minimum 3/5 years of PQE, with prior experience with Big 4

Skills:

1. Strong Business Acumen, number crunching

2. Analysis and control over key cost and margin levers.

3. Strong Excel and presentation

Experience Requirement:

Preferably worked in FMCG/ QSR/ Online/ Pharma/ Consumer Electronics in Finance and Accounts Domain
