- Proficiency in Agile Methodologies: experience and understanding of Agile principles and practices, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams in Agile product specification, development and delivery.

- Strong stakeholder management skills: Exceptional ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment, managing expectations, and fostering productive relationships.

- Expertise in product strategy development: Proven capability in defining and executing product strategies that align with business goals, customer needs and market trends, while driving innovation and competitive advantage.

- Experience in product discovery and experimentation: Proficient in employing product discovery techniques, conducting user research, and facilitating experiments to validate assumptions, inform decision-making, and drive continuous product improvement.

- Experience and awareness of UX design principles, with the ability to create wireframes and prototypes for effective communication.

- Backlog prioritisation: Ability to prioritise product backlog items based on business value, user needs, technical feasibility and strategic objectives, ensuring optimal delivery and value creation.

- Strong data analysis capabilities: Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data, extracting actionable insights, and leveraging data-driven decision-making to inform product strategies, optimizations, and performance monitoring.

- Working knowledge of data management principles, including data integration, data governance and data privacy.

- Experience in working with both internal and external development teams, onshore and offshore, through scrum masters and Engineering and Product Managers in other teams.

What you'll be doing - your accountabilities:

- Fostering a strong collaborative partnership between the DAAC, Omnisales, Product, Sales, Service and Marketing teams, working closely with all stakeholders to understand their goals, pain points, and requirements into the website IA and on-site earch capabilities.

- Developing a strategic roadmap and plan for IA and on-site search initatives, in collaboration with the above mentioned teams and other business stakeholders. Defining the backlog and priorities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

- Conducting thorough research and analysis in conjunction with our user research team to understand the needs of our visitors and customers and defining the required IA and on-site search features to meet those needs and priortising those that will drive the most benefit.

- Collaborating with the Digital Design team to design and implement iterative changes to evolve the Navigation, IA and Search experiences with a focus on customer needs and providing exceptional user experiences

- Ensuring alignment with industry best practices in IA, Navigation and On-site Search, conducting user research and making data informed decisions manage change and optimise user experince.

- Working closely with the Digital teams to ensure proper implementation and management of website IA and search.

- Defining and developing a KPIs and assocaited reporting frameworks to provide visibility of the performance of on-site search and IA and to track the effectiveness changes efforts and ROI.

Experience you'd be expected to have:

- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager or similar role, experience with delivering change in the IA and/or on-site search capabilities of a large corporate B2B website is beneficial.

- Experience and familiarity with IA concepts and applying them in structuring information systems and designing intuitive, user-friendly navigation.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understanding and addressing user needs and business requirements for on-site search and IA.

- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in Agile product development environments.

- Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), is highly desirable.

- Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence decision-making. Work closely with content editors to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication between content editors and development teams.

- Experience driving the migration from on-premise search infrastructure to cloud-based AI-driven solutions is beneficial, as is a keen interest in emerging conversational search technologies.
