Job Title Senior Pre-Sales Associate Location Mumbai, India Reporting to National Sales Manager Employment Full time/Permanent Primary Job Purpose Responsible for 1.Interacting with the Sales Teams at a lead stage, to understand the customer needs and come up with apositioning strategy, approach document, presentation, proposals etc. 2.Having an excellent understanding of what the client needs and how best to articulate we can provide that 3.Working with global and local Sales Teams and contribute to charting Go to Market strategy for new products and specific geographies 4.Working with the sales team to conceptualize new business opportunities that lead to new lines of revenue generation 5.To achieve monthly, quarterly and annual individual sales targets for new and existing accounts across assigned product streams, in the most cost-effective way 6.Creation and maintenance of an effective knowledge management system to support all the phases of the opportunity lifecycle 7.Supporting the Product Owners with the development needs and material 8.Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and global market trends in the HSE domain along with research about the competition 9.Time management, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision Brief Description of Tasks : 1.Support the Sales Team on a day-to-day basis by owning the responsibility for: a.Drafting business solutions, proposals, presentations, case studies, white papers and other salescollaterals as per the requirement given by the Sales Team b.Improving the existing sales collaterals for better product positioning and market outreach 2.Provide support in identifying new prospects, qualifying leads, and handing over warm leads to the salesteam 3.Coordinate and support the Technical Team with the development of materials, presentations and othercollaterals 4.Develop the tools, analytics, and marketing materials for new products and service 5.Liaise with multiple teams and exhibit robust program management to build a synchronized and coherentresponse for project delivery 6.Provide clients with a high-quality insight of the British Safety Council's products & services and gain theircommitment to engage with the entire (HSE) portfolio. 7.Build, maintain and share a comprehensive understanding of the client's business activity, market needs,and competitive environment 8.Support the Sales Team in building and effectively managing the sales pipeline for each assigned producttype, to support the consistent achievement of sales targets. 9.Role model and champion the right approach with sales best practices and processes such as (but notlimited to) pipeline management, CRM use, sales activity planning/delivery and sales forecasting. 10.Proactively embed the use of the CRM (Salesforce) in day-to-day sales functions and consistently followsales best practices and processes. 11.Collaborate with internal departments to offer clients the highest service levels and customer-orientedsolutions. 12.Maintain data quality and accuracy on the company's internal database. 13.Manage own time and travel costs in line with the Company Business Plan ensuring client visits areeffectively planned and marketed. 14.To uphold the BSC safety policy and terms and conditions of employment. Skills & Qualifications: Essential : - Exceptional attention to detail - Ability to demonstrate strong sales achievement, working to targets and deadlines - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate atall levels of the business - Experience of supporting or coordinating with different teams in project delivery - Experience using a CRM, ideally Salesforce - Ability to network and build relationships internally and externally - Excellent ability to prioritize competing tasks with strong time management skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Aggressive, Go-getter attitude and strategic mindset - Strong Project management skills Desirable : - Any graduate, or/and Post Graduate (Full Time) with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a researchfirm or a pre-sales/inside sales role - Excellent MS Office: PPT | Word | Excel skills - Candidates with gaps in education or employment of more than 2 years are not eligible
