Business Analyst - SSC Finance

Purpose of job:

Contributes towards collating and interpreting financial and non-financial information with a view to review with Senior management and HOD Finance to aid decision making and play an important role in enhancing the quality of service delivery from SSC.

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

- Collate and critically analyse monthly performance matrix for finance service delivery and interpret trends

- Preparation of periodic dashboards and monthly reports for management reporting and performance measurement

- Developing intuitive presentations for Sr. Management

- Active engagements with stake holders to review performance of Finance Delivery

- Supporting the finance service delivery team with key strategic and tactical initiatives

- Identify opportunity through analysis of various process data and recommend ways for continuous improvements

SPI reporting : 

- Providing reporting support to the Global Strategic Planning & Insights Team by receiving data from multiple sources like Market Share, Finance, HR, Audit; Reviewing data & identifying anomalies & reporting back.

- Consolidation of data sets & working on macro based spread sheets to upload & publish results on SAP Business Objects

- Ensure the SPI corporate dashboard is refreshed & published on monthly/quarterly basis. The role requires the ability to work on large data sets & intermediary skills on SAP & SAP Business Intelligence application.

Experience :

- Experience of 9-12 years in understanding finance processes (AP, AR, General Accounting etc)

- Preparing performance reports and dashboard for review with Senior management

- Experience of using SAP FI and other Finance areas in terms of extracting and analysing financial information
