Job Description : Delivering Cost Savings on Indirect & Demand Procurement : - Develop new vendors and also get best prices in the areas of Sales & Marketing Collaterals, including Point of Sale materials, standees, Posters, danglers working along with Sales & Mktg.. - Develop a process and work with vendors in the area of Media costing, Commercial making as well as Market Research along with the Marketing team - Develop and support the process of empanelling new vendors based on their capability, process orientation and infrastructure alongside the commercial consideration - Oversee and streamline category supplies across media buying, professional & marketing services, TTL, Real Estate and IT - Ensure spend management within specified budgeted costs as well as oversee implementation of cost containment strategies Delivering Cost Savings on RM Procurement : - Embed Best in Class RM Procurement Category excellence capability and process i.e. Sourcing, Contract Mgmt, Risk and Supplier Performance - Continue to develop and implement long terms category strategies along with Vendors and Material Planning teams. - Do a complete benchmarking of RM usage with competition and possible alternate vendor selection considering better costs, Service and BCP as part of Squeeze Initiative - Develop and work with Mktg teams for Strategic projects on time, within budget - Look at using best in class processes and tools like Reverse Auctions, Strategic Sourcing, VMI Develop strong relationships with Internal and External stakeholders : - Work with Marketing teams and provide best in class and cost solutions - Work closely with Sales teams for options and solutions basis Best practices in market from similar FMCG players - Work closely with Manufacturing and Material Planning teams to understand the usage of various materials and look at improving Cost and Quality with same or alternate vendors - Build the process of indigenization of especially Imported and single sourced materials working with the R&D and Quality teams - Jointly set objectives with stakeholders, undertake business reiews to reflect achievement against established KPIs, identify gaps and manage Continuous Improvement strategies.
