BrightInsight - Cyber Security Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Monitors, Correlates, and analyzes security event data from a number of security solutions and technical systems.

- Aids in the development and coordination of system security plans and their implementation.

- Monitor organizations systems for security breaches and perform threat hunts.

- Evaluate and respond to suspicious events, including but not limited to identification, risk and impact analysis, collection of evidence, containment, mitigation, remediation, recovery, and lessons learned.

- Participate in day-to-day security operations primarily focused on protecting against data breaches, exploits, threats, and malicious attacks.

- Work with cross functional teams to develop security policies and procedures.

- Align security programs to industry standard frameworks.

- Monitoring and safeguarding the log sources and security access.

Minimum Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years in a cybersecurity analyst role responding to alerts, vulnerabilities, threats and performing investigations in response to incidents.

- Experience with threat intelligence, performing threat hunts and log analysis.

- Experience working with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools, endpoint detection and response tools, vulnerability management suites, and various security solutions.

- Experience in public cloud is required (GCP, AWS, Azure)

- Preferred Experience working with industry standard regulations and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HiTrust, ISO, NIST, SANS, SOX, SOC II, HIPAA)
