Our Hospitality vertical includes a growing portfolio of hotels, lifestyle clubs and convention centres, collaborating with Marriott, Accor, and IHG for hotel ventures which include brands such as Sheraton Grand, Four Points by Sheraton, Holiday Inn and Grand Mercure.

JOB SUMMARY: WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Strategist / Feasibility Analyst you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive feasibility studies to assess the viability and potential success of establishing a new hotel or expanding an existing one within the Brigade Hospitality SBU portfolio. The role involves analyzing market trends, financial projections, regulatory requirements, and other factors to provide key insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Analysis - Develop detailed financial models to project revenue, expenses, and return on investment. Assess the capital investment required for construction, renovation, and operational setup. Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various factors on financial outcomes.

Site Evaluation: Assess the suitability of the location in terms of target market preferences , competition, accessibility, zoning regulations, and local infrastructure. Collaborate with relevant teams to assess the suitability of sites.

Market Research and Analysis - Conduct market research to identify current and future trends, analyze hospitality industry reports, and competitor activities. Evaluate the demand and supply dynamics in the target location.

Regulatory Compliance: Research and understand local, state, and central regulations related to the RE/Hotel industry. Ensure compliance with by-laws, building codes, and licensing requirements.

Risk Assessment: Identify and analyze potential risks associated with the hotel project. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Feasibility Report Preparation: Compile all research findings and analysis into a comprehensive feasibility report. Clearly present recommendations and conclusions to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project developers, investors, and other stakeholders to gather input and insights. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making.

Continuous Industry Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics. Provide ongoing support and updates to stakeholders as needed.

Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports and presentations for Management/Board on the financial performance, market conditions, and recommendations for improvements within the Hospitality vertical.

Familiarity with Hotel Management Agreements - ability to review HMA's to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Should be able to collaborate with legal teams to address any contractual issues and mitigate potential risks. Advise on terms related to management fees, performance metrics, termination clauses, and other relevant aspects.

ELIGIBILITY: WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- 5-7 years of proven experience handling similar roles in a reputed organization.

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, hotel management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience in conducting feasibility studies analysis for hotel projects and understanding of Hotel Industry.

- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Knowledge of the hotel industry, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.

- Well versed in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint , Power BI, Tableau

- Stakeholder management

- Collaborative skills

- Financial acumen & eye for detail.
