Brick & Bolt - Head - Designs

Brick&Bolt is looking for a Seasoned architect with the ability to run a team of young architects balancing the entire workload of the design team delivering maximum efficiency with absolutely no dilution on the output of quality of design and details. You will have the chance to oversee each project from the proposal phase through completion and interface directly with in-house personnel as well as potential clients.

Responsibilities :

- Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to architectural projects, including directing the design team, reviewing drafts and computer models, and approving design changes.

- Communicate directly with managers, production staff, marketing personnel, and clients to discuss and organize projects from original conceptual design through construction.

- Present design proposals and models to clients according to prescribed deadlines, and explain relevant details, reports, broad ideas about expense, and how the team has tried to achieve design goals set forth in the requirement gathering exercise in clear and persuasive language.

- Provide consultations and spearhead negotiations with potential clients.

- Assess potential projects for feasibility by researching and analyzing design requirements, Vaastu considerations and governmental regulations.

- Oversee recruitment efforts to staff in-house architectural personnel as needed including empaneling practicing architects, managing their deliverables and billing and provide the management with insight on efficiency and TAT on all projects.

- Remain up-to-date with current and trending elements of design, construction, and technology by reading industry publications, manuals, and textbooks and attending professional development courses and events as time permits.

- Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design and engineering work as necessary to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

- Advanced level Revit capability is a must. Exposure to BIM modeling is an advantage.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

Degree in architectural engineering, plus minimum five years experience, including Revit design and drafting

Excellent written and oral communication skills along with presentation techniques

Experience in Residential architecture, specially villas, bungalows and individual homes

Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team

Adherence to deadlines
