Roles and Responsibilities :

The Operations Manager will be responsible for providing overall leadership to the Operations team including warehousing and logistics planning and execution. This is a highly hands-on role, involving project, people and vendor management, multi-city coordination and will involve deep functional and technical knowledge of all areas of operations management.

Key areas of responsibilities will be as follows:

1. Warehouse management

a. Building and managing our network of distribution centres and last-mile stations as per the needs of the business

b. Managing 1000+ fast moving SKUs across multiple vendors and multiple locations

c. Designing and implementing SOPs for operational visibility and efficiency

2. Logistics Management

a. Middle-mile and last-mile logistics management for 1000+ orders per day per city

b. Manage multiple vendors across cities

c. Manage delivery efficiency, accuracy and turnaround times

3. Personnel Management

a. Building and managing a multi-city operations team across multiple roles

b. Training and up-skilling of operations personnel

4. Compliance Management

a. Ensuring compliance across all aspects of operations

5. Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure transparency in inventory and operations

6. Planning for operational cost, productivity and accuracy targets

Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred

- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics operations. Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior role (leadership level) is required.

- Data-driven and analytical

- Excellent organizational, leadership, analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills

- Demonstrated negotiation, vendor management and leadership experience
