- To be responsible for delivering the budget by generating revenue/sponsorship/partnership for the client
- Developing professional and profitable relationships with clients, media, promotional and sponsorship specialist agencies
- Secure long term forecast income
- Work as key member of team to secure meetings and close deals with brands across all areas of Brand Solutions
- Take responsibility for the whole sales process, from pitching through to booking and overseeing the Event team account managers during the process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Main focus is on generating revenue through brand partnerships
- Identify a strong pipeline of sponsor targets in key market areas, pursue those targets with creative sponsorship options and close business
- Where appropriate you should work with and monitor the pipelines of the experiential team and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Identify all sales opportunities, short and long term, maximising revenue through building relationships with clients, agencies and specialists
- Ability to maintain and grow effective database of clients, prospects and manage a sales pipeline accordingly
- Chase leads and maintain up to date with latest client campaigns and competitor activity
- Research and analyse data to build up relevant insights to identify opportunities
- Through creative planning develop tailor made programmes from scratch
- Develop in depth knowledge of prospective partners- sectors through rigorous research and insight and therefore putting the right story in front of the right brands
- Produce imaginative and creative content for all presentations
- Develop presentations and follow-up proposals
- Research leads and maintain up to date information regarding the latest client campaigns and competitor activity
- Liaise with relevant departments (e.g. marketing, centre management, events) to maximise revenue and customer experience
- Conduct site tours at all centres where relevant
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills with an excellent attention to detail
- Work with legal team to ensure contracts are issued and accurately recorded in reports for all transactions
- Ensure all accounts procedures are adhered to for invoicing, collection of payments and sales reporting
- Ensure contact database is maintained, and reporting to management to track ongoing sales process
- Promote good practices and achievements to other centres and Support Office colleagues
Skills & Experience Required :
Essential:
- Have relevant sales experience with new business, strategic selling and presentation skills.
- A genuine understanding of marketing/advertising/promotions/media/events/experiential, who has the ability to listen to a brand, understand their challenges and provide them with an appealing mix of solutions
- Research and insights experience with outstanding analytical and strategic planning skills
- Able to build a network with clients, able to open doors at the right level
- Highly articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills and an inquisitive mind
- Proven excellent negotiation/networking skills
- Flexibility and willingness to embrace change and new opportunities
- Team player, maintaining close working relationships with team and other employees to achieve targets
- Computer literate in Microsoft programmes: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe
