1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and research potential clients that align with the organization's target market and services/offerings.
- Utilize various lead generation techniques, such as cold calling, networking, and social media outreach, to establish initial contact with potential clients.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects to ensure a steady stream of new business opportunities.
- Report on lead generation activities and results on a weekly basis.
2. Sales Presentations and Proposals:
- Develop customized sales presentations and proposals that effectively showcase the organization's solutions and their relevance to the client's needs.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of clients' industries, pain points, and objectives, tailoring sales pitches accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sales materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the organization's brand identity.
3. Relationship Building and Account Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, from initial contact through to post-sale support and account management.
- Regularly engage with clients to ensure their needs are met, uncovering opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and consistent delivery of value-added services.
4. Sales Targets and Revenue Growth:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, both individually and as part of the wider sales team.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow revenue from existing accounts and new business prospects.
- Regularly track and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to achieve desired results.
5. Market Intelligence and Industry Trends:
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Leverage market insights to identify new sales opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand professional connections and enhance the organization's market presence.
6. Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with colleagues across various departments, such as social media, influencer specialists, and account management, to ensure seamless end-to-end sales processes and successful client outcomes.
- Share best practices, insights, and learnings with the sales team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Contribute to a positive team culture that supports the organization's values and goals.
7. Team Training and Management:
- Coach, mentor, and inspire the growth and development of team members by providing consistent feedback, training, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct training sessions on areas such as email drafting, communication skills, using Excel, optimizing daily work, planning campaigns, and other soft skills.
- Schedule daily/weekly catch-ups with team members to ensure efficient workflows and team alignment.
- Develop and assist team members with their professional and personal goals by providing regular feedback based on performance.
- Maintain a strong company and team culture that supports business goals.
- Retain and develop a strong and creative team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably within the marketing or advertising industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience in coaching and developing sales team.
