Brand/Product Manager: Graduates / Engineers /MBAs with 11 to 14 years experience in Product/Brand management from Automobile Industry. The Person will be responsible for activation of campaigns across all consumer touch points. This includes management of creative excellence and consistency as well as overall touch point strategy to ensure a holistic campaign development/implementation across ATL, BTL, consumer events, seeding, and partnerships. Innovation and efficiencies will be key element of the responsibility which also includes managing advertising agencies. Identifying new opportunities based on market trends and consumer insights. Managing all brand & product management activities to achieve short and long term goals. Providing leadership to the extended Marketing team including agencies, cross functional teams etc.

Position based at Chennai & reports to Head of Marketing.

Job Profile:

- Conceptualize and successfully implement the branding activity, including creative work, media, advertising and communication plans. Development of brand strategy and plan for the vertical, market mapping, consumer segmentation, assessment, brand communication (creative, media & budgeting),

- Evolving the Marketing plan in the short, medium and long term to support sales delivery;

- Monitoring, managing and leveraging brand assets in terms of both tangible and intangible aspects

- Work closely with the sales team for effective activation of marketing plans and promotions.

- Generate a demand for the brand through innovative and creative approaches for media as well as idea generation for innovative field marketing;

- Enhance productivity of marketing expenditure; being responsible for ‘media’ activity for the vertical;

- Interact closely with the various Function Heads (Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc) to understand the dynamics and meet the business requirements

- Work effectively with advertising, media agencies for managing the advertising and promotion activities for the vertical , including developing new advertising ;

- Formulate, implement and monitor the marketing and advertising budget for the vertical, and ensure development of marketing plans within the allocated budgets;

- Manage and work with the internal Research and Development Team on new products.

- Effectively handle media agency inter-action;

- Analyse the competition and assess their activities.

- Work closely with the internal Market research team & external agencies to gain consumer insights and translate the same into briefs to the Research and Development teams.

- Participate and provide guidance to the R&D team in areas of product development.
