Philip Morris International (PMI) is one of the world's leading tobacco companies with presence in over 170 countries and owning some iconic brands like Marlboro (Cigarettes) and IQOS (heated tobacco device) .

PMI is building its future on replacing cigarettes with smoke-free products that-while not completely risk-free-are a far better choice than cigarette smoking. The vision is that these products will replace cigarettes at some point in the future.

The organization is developing a portfolio of smoke-free products that deliver nicotine without burning tobacco and which current adult smokers find satisfying.

FERTIN PHARMA AND VECTURA FERTIN PHARMA:

Fertin Pharma has a history dating back more than 100 years. First founded as a confectionery company, Fertin started producing nicotine chewing gum sin the 1990s. It is now the world's largest contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for NRT gums.. Fertin specializes in the research, development and production of gums, pouches, liquefiable tablets, and other solid oral systems for the delivery of active ingredients, including nicotine. T Fertin owns more than 40% of the market share for nicotine gums in the US and EU.

The global Fertin headquarters are based in Denmark and have additional manufacturing facilities in Canada & India.

PMI acquired Fertin Pharma in year 2021, with the objective of harnessing its expertise in developing NRT products an. With Fertin Pharma's substantial expertise, PMI plans to accelerate its presence in the fast growing modern oral category via a broad range of smoke-free products. This includes nicotine replacement gums and many other exciting formats that can help more adults who would otherwise continue to smoke switch to better alternatives and stop smoking. In India, these products will be launched through the entity, Vectura Fertin Pharma. The products will target both smokers and chewers, owing to the large population of the latter in India.

Vectura Fertin has recently done the soft launch of its brand, Ryze on E-commerce platforms like Amazon, Tata 1 mg. Ryze nicotine gum has gained significant market share within a month of its launch.

Our approach to brand-building is more holistic; one that looks at the entire spectrum of consumer journey - Insight, product development, communication, media deployment & consumer activations. We are also building a digital- first business.

We looking to hire a Brand Manager for our new brand of Nicotine Replacement Therapy ( NRT) products. The person will work closely with the Marketing Lead on all the marketing efforts in this category.

Person (Experience):

- The incumbent will ideally be an MBA from a premier institute , with around 5-15 years of experience.

- Experience of handling a brand in an FMCG /OTC company

Person (Behavioural):

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to deal with ambiguity.

- Highly driven, target oriented. Willing to roll -up the sleeves when needed. Strong bias for action.

- Open-minded. Experimentative.

- Collaborative. Drives team efforts towards a common goal

- Strong believer in digital and has strong understanding of the digital ecosystem and the latest trends.
