- New Product Development & Commercialization manages the product development pipeline from concept to commercialization, they develop product briefs, analyze market opportunities and work with a cross functional team to bring products through a complete launch cycle.
- Responsibilities include New Product Development strategic planning, analyzing market data pre and post launch, maintaining product development pipeline timelines and deliverables and executing a market launch plan.
- Responsible for the full end to end marketing mix. this is a hands on role that will see you managing brand plans, setting strategic direction, managing NPD launches and working on innovation plans.
- Contribution to key projects organizational projects as assigned Cost saving initiatives, better negotiation pricing, new product development.
- Completes market & competitive reviews to understand product gaps. Monitors trends in personal Care Products.
- Leads the development & recommendation of consumer & product research including qualitative consumer research, consumer claims.
- New Product Development will collaborate on projects to design, develop, test, and launch products with distinct competitive advantage.
- Work with internal marketing, brand and product development teams, to ensure projects are seen through to completion research, ideation, P&Ls and presentations
- Develops new product concepts & strategies in collaboration with marketing team.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards along various points of execution and plan development.
- Developing new categories within brand along with New Product Development responsibilities, collateral materials for ATL, BTL activities, product mix.
- Prepare brand development plans & seek approval prepare brand communication strategy, positioning platform and brand campaigns; suggest innovative propositions to build & nurture a profitable brand.
- Develop innovation roadmaps for the brands and lead the collaboration with the various functional teams to deliver sound volume and revenue forecasting for NPD initiatives.
- Marketing Mix Present marketing initiatives consumer and trade for new products.
Qualifications
Education:
- MBA from a Premier B School (2008 - 2012 Batch)
Experience:
- Min 2 years Product Development experience or Brand management with an NPD component.
- Experience in FMCG industry preferably in Personal care category
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- NPD and Innovation exposure
- Energetic and self-motivated food professional
- Able to contribute positively to the growth and success of the company
- Requires both a high attention to detail as well as broad strategic thinking abilities country/product and launch plans, communication strategies, etc.
