Position Summary

- Support the Marketing Director (Asia) in leading the development of a long-term, positioning, vision and strategic plan for d.light's brands in India.
Bottom of Form
- The Brand Manager will be primarily responsible for d.light's brand P&L, accountable for delivering on brand metrics (awareness, penetration, profitability), managing the day-to-day execution of brand plans, recommending and implementing corrective actions to optimize effectiveness and ensure achievement of targets within the India region.
- The role is critical in implementing the India marketing plan, and also in ensuring the quality and efficacy of its execution.
Il. Position Responsibilities (Expected Work)
- The major responsibilities of this position listed in order of importance.
- Participate in the strategic marketing planning process and develop the annual marketing plan for India region.
- Build an understanding of consumer, trade and shopper eco-system and turn them into viable business ideas.
- Manage d.light's brands as a business in terms of drivers, opportunities and return; use financial acumen to make strategic decisions which benefit the business; align strategy and act as a guardian of the integrity of all the brand material.
- Drive volume, share, and profit objectives; get ahead of situations and develop approaches that maximise the business opportunities; integrate all marketing efforts, advertising, promotions and other marketing assets within a consistent overall marketing plan.
Key activities include -
- Overseeing the development and production of communication material, including - electronic media production, training manuals, POS, display ads, email campaigns, brochures, websites, and material relevant for exhibitions and events.
- Executing the BTL activations with an eye on quality and ensure achievement of targeted metrics for each activity.
- Working with and day-to-day handling of - ad-agencies, media agencies, MR firms, ground activation agencies, PR firms and related marketing partners.
- Managing the marketing budget.
- Managing the status of key projects and evaluation of external agencies.
- Responsible to monitor and analyse brand and business performance vis-Ã -vis business goals (awareness, share, consumer diagnostics, profitability, etc.) and also vs. the competition.
- Coordinate regular meetings and prepare regular reports outlining the brand performance.
- Travel intensively within India to ensure the quality of brand activations.
