Job Purpose:
Lead the brand, driving revenue growth and profitability in line with market opportunity and company vision, through the next phase of evolution
Responsibilities and Duties:
Driving Business & Market Share
- Business forecasting & planning - track, analyse and implement strategies that will ensure category growth
- Drive volume & value growth across regions to deliver on annual marketing plan for designated portfolio. Own up the task of delivering MS growths for the portfolio.
- Plan the portfolio AOP and be the pivotal role in its implementation and monitoring
- Leading the Innovation process & portfolio P&L
- Lead the innovation process of introducing new products in the portfolio through gate processes and own the 8Q innovation funnel.
- Lead projects for renovation / GM improvements which drive the portfolio P&L
- Effective NPD Launch through relevant marketing and branding initiatives and tracking and monitoring them ensuring planned outcomes
- Ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver growth strategies aligned to the overall business
- Should be aware and well versed with research techniques, concept writing, business opportunity sizing, leading cross functional teams etc.
Brand Building & Demand Generation:
- Development and implementation of the marketing, branding and portfolio
- Communications strategy - including campaigns, content, design, events, digital marketing, and PR.
- Engage with creative partners / agencies to develop and drive a singular message for the portfolio
- Design consumer promotions / schemes / initiatives for increasing consumer offtakes.
- Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
- Drive consumer understanding for overall brand as well as the portfolio categories to feed into initiative planning
- Influence present and future products by providing market and consumer insights
- Partner with channel heads (Ecommerce / MT / Food aggregators) to plan and drive portfolio growths in these new channels
- Partner with agencies on driving awareness and generating demand through new age media
Additional Brand Responsibilities:
- Manage portfolio A&SP budgets
- Participate in the demand and supply planning process / S&OP process
- Working closely with the company's sales team; enabling them with relevant consumer insights to meet their objectives.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: MBA/ PG min 6-7 Years of experience
- Must have prior experience at a national level in consumer business.
- Insights Generation & Application skills
- Strong knowledge of brands , Consumer and category in consumer goods industry.
- Strong planning and execution skills and ability to see an activity end to end
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Inter-personal skills to manage people across hierarchies and functions.
