Brand Manager
Brand Management :
- Responsible for driving Net Sales, GP and volume growth for 2 Brands- ColourUp & Exam Expert
- Range planning (assortment for General Trade & Modern trade), product pricing, mapping the sub-brands / products (i.e. looking at their life-spans and how to curtail or expand their life-spans)
- Managing portfolio mix. - The brand manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product, consumer and customer requirements, defining the product purpose and working closely with sales and RDQ to ensure revenue and consumer, customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Responsible to reach targeted profitability of product portfolio
- Market Share Target - Ensure overall building of product's business and market share to targeted levels in medium & long term (As per the Operating plan).
Marketing Mix Deployment and Budgeting :
- Drive the growth and contribution of champion brands within the portfolio, ensure ROMI targets are met.
- Have a strong consumer understanding and mapping right products/channels to consumers
- Manage the Brand Support and Point of sale budget & execution. Effectively drive the brand vision within available budgets
- Have strong Traditional and Digital Marketing capabilities
- Lead & Manage the Cello Seen Cello Sold program - key retail branding initiative across channels pan- India
New Product Launch:
- Scheduling and working with sales team to plan execution and tracking of sales and also responsible for success / failure of launch
- Work with Market Research for understanding and leveraging the consumer/customer/ shopper psyche
- People Management & Team Leadership: Role of an Influencer across sales and production to ensure timely delivery of the product to the targeted consumers. Effectively manage agencies we partner with.
Others:
- Scheduling and working with sales team to plan execution and tracking of sales and also responsible for success / failure of launch 2.
- Work with Market Research for understanding and leveraging the consumer/customer/ shopper psyche
- Work with creative team to manage graphics and packaging
- Provide support to Customer Activation team for displays, etc.
- Liaising with QC team to keep abreast of customer complaints and market feedback
- Interaction with legal to ensure mandatory / statutory warnings on packaging
QUALIFICATIONS: MBA with at least 6 years of experience with at least 3 years in brand management
