Our client is a leading FMCG Distribution conglomerate situated in the Sultanate of Oman with business interests in Kuwait and the UAE, in addition to the business in the Sultanate. The Organization has ambitious plans for upstream and geographical growth, generating a multimillion turnover with approximately 3,000 employees with many leading international brands within its portfolio. We have been retained to assist them with the sourcing of a - Brand Manager- position to be based in Muscat. The responsibility of a Brand Manager is to monitor the market trends and oversee advertising and marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for their product and services Key accountabilities of this position are to: - Be responsible for exploring the new market opportunities for the brands in the region. - Ensure strategic, effective and efficient management of brand to achieve organizational objective - Generates consumer insights and translates them into successful brand initiatives - Chart plans to ensure that the company's products are ahead of the competitors - Works closely with the sales team to come up with exciting sales promotion activations that will help in enriching the brands and achieve business - Be capable of providing strong leadership - Manage the day to day logistics of the brand programs - Conduct market analysis to provide insights and support to the Business Partner to better understand the market dynamics. The ideal candidate should have minimum 5 years of work experience in Marketing and preferably in a similar industry. He should also have - Good knowledge of advertising, distribution and market research - Ability to prioritize multiple projects and execute programs from start to completion - Persuasive and negotiation skills - Energetic, Creative, Organized and business-driven approach is required
