Brand manager
- Strategic Planning - Crafting the overall strategy of the product brand, driving business growth whilst achieving volume and revenue targets for the brand
- Identifying opportunity areas in brand/adjacencies over short-term and long-term horizons
- Brand Management - Managing the product brand in terms of achievement of value, volume, market share and profitability targets along with pricing, distribution, activations and visibility. Managing cross-functional network towards achievement of category metrics esp. volume and profitability
- Sales & Marketing - Developing long term/short term strategic trade/customer marketing plans in consultation with Trade Marketing by leveraging appropriate opportunities e.g. brand/market/pack/channel
- Marketing Communications - Interacting with advertising, media and PR agencies on all communication requirements
- Responsible for brand alliances, tie -ups, joint promos etc in line with brand objectives
- New Product Development - Spearheading innovations & Out of box idea generation within the marketing function. Strategize New Product Launches for different routes to market states for the region - Product pricing, distribution, placement, visibility, promotions, trade incentive, counter salesman incentive etc.
